Jacob Hampson is a math teacher at Health Sciences High and Middle College (HSHMC) in San Diego, California. His experience includes teaching middle and high school mathematics, supervising teacher candidates, and advising HSHMC’s student government. He holds a Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Social and Emotional Learning, and is working towards earning a Master of Art in Mathematics. As a Master’s student and National Board Certification Candidate, he is dedicated to implementation of instructional practices that foster an inclusive learning environment for all students.
