This webinar will focus on radical love as a tool to explore liberation in the classroom for students and teachers. More specifically, we will look at the concept of healing and unlearning as transformative and critical aspects of creating and sustaining a social justice education framework. Participants will learn more about social justice based pedagogical strategies to create more antiracist and humanizing classrooms.

Outcomes:

  • Teacher-reflection activities that center radical love and self-care as a pedagogical practice
  • Identifying a Social Justice Education (SJE) framework
  • Creating a working action plan for your classroom that is guided by radical love and vulnerability
