In the past decade, a growing subgroup of multilingual learners (MLs) often labeled as “Long-term English Learners” (LTEL) has gained attention in the field. In this webinar, Tan Huynh and Beth Skelton propose the more assets-based term "experienced multilingual" and share an instructional framework that creates the conditions for long-term academic success for this group of multilingual learners.

Participants will learn how to:
• engineer summative exams
• plan daily lessons that integrate language and content instruction
• make content lessons more comprehensible
• structure discipline-specific output
