We request your participation and cordially invite you to a conversation featuring innovative high school students and educators selected from across the country who have been instrumental in uplifting and enriching their school communities through creative action moderated by Wade Antonio Colwell. Their stories and strategies have wide implications for the practices and policies that can guide and inspire us in this unique moment in history for K-12 opportunities. The intended outcome of the event is to highlight and encourage a collective approach to designing a culturally empowering learning environment for all its members. As an essential contributor to the educational field, we look forward to you joining us on October 13th.

This panel will allow you to:

  • Learn the most effective moves connected to culturally responsive practices for students, teachers, support staff and administrators.

  • Understand the strength and opportunity in leveraging our human uniqueness and polarity of perspectives.

  • Get clear on contemporary and historical barriers to equity and inlcusion and how to build pathways to a healthy learning community.

  • Establish the urgency for more frequent and intentional cross-generational partnership to leverage our collective wisdom.
