Danielle Torres

Danielle Torres earned a B.A. and M.A. from Pepperdine University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon. She is currently a faculty member of the School Counseling Program at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Her teaching includes courses in action research, diversity issues in education, and the professional development of school counselors.

Rene Townsend, former superintendent for ten years, is executive director of the Urban Education Dialog (UED) and Public School Services (PSS), nonprofit organizations founded by Price Charities. PSS has a mission of reducing the price of goods and services to all public school districts; UED is a forum to confront challenges facing urban school districts and exchange best practices.





Lynda Tredway

Lynda Tredway began her career as a teacher, project coordinator, teacher-educator, and leader-educator in 1969 in D.C. Public Schools as a secondary classroom teacher. She has worked with students and teachers in her role as Socratic Seminar Coordinator for DC Schools and Project Coordinator for National History Day at DC Historical Society, graduate students at George Washington University in teacher education and U.C. Berkeley’s Principal Leadership Institute for 19 years.

Donald J. Treffinger is director of the Center for Creative Learning in Sarasota, Florida, and editor-in-chief of Parenting for High Potential, NAGC’s quarterly magazine for parents. He has previously served as a member of the faculty at Buffalo State University College, the University of Kansas, and Purdue University.
