Amy Morse

Amy Morse is a national leader in designing and providing professional development for math coaches and district leaders responsible for coaching programs. In 1997, Amy joined Education Development Center where, as a project director, she works on teacher and coach development programs. In this capacity she worked for many years with the Boston Public Schools (BPS) Elementary Math Department to design and facilitate the professional development for the district’s elementary math coaches.

The award honors an Illinois teacher for providing outstanding resources to mathematics teachers. David has devoted his professional career of more than 40 years to mathematics education. He began as a middle-school mathematics teacher in an individualized setting.
