Gray, Kenneth

Kenneth Carter Gray

Kenneth C. Gray is a professor in the Workforce Education and Development Program at Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining the faculty at Penn State, he was superintendent of the Vocational Technical High School System in Connecticut and has been a high school English teacher, guidance counselor, and administrator. He has published widely and is frequently quoted in the national press. He is coauthor with Edwin Herr of Workforce Education: The Basic.

Walling, Donovan

Donovan R. Walling

Donovan R. Walling is a writer, editor, educator, and consultant. He serves as a senior consultant for the Center for Civic Education. He has taught art, English, and journalism in the United States and abroad and has worked as a curriculum administrator in public school districts in Wisconsin and Indiana. From 1993 until 2006 he was director of publications for the education association Phi Delta Kappa International.


Gagnon, George

George W. Gagnon, Jr.

George W. Gagnon, Jr. is the Director of K-12 Partnerships in the College of Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. He works with teacher and parent partners to support students who would be the first generation in their family to be engineers or scientists. George uses Math Models he has designed to support students in developing a conceptual understanding of mathematics.

Sandra J. Thompson

Sandra Thompson, Ph.D. serves as a Research Associate at the National Center on Educational Outcomes (NCEO) at the University of Minnesota, where she has been responsible for state survey research activities that document the status of outcomes for students with disabilities, current assessment policies and practices, and involvement with IDEA activities. Dr. Thompson has an extensive background in preparing students with disabilities for successful adult lives.
