Suzette Lovely is the deputy superintendent of personnel services for the Capistrano Unified School District in Orange County, CA. She has spent 24 years in public education as a teacher, assistant principal, elementary principal, and director of elementary operations. Lovely also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Chapman University, teaching courses in educational administration.
Shira Lubliner is the president of California Professors of Reading/Language Arts. She has been an educator for more than thirty years, working as a classroom teacher, a private school principal, and currently as an associate professor of teacher education at California State University, East Bay.
John Luckner is a professor in the School of Special Education at the University of Northern Colorado. He has worked as a classroom teacher, teacher trainer, researcher, and author for the past three decades. His primary professional interests include teacher preparation, language and literacy development, and collaboration. He is the co-author of four books and one test, the author of several textbook chapters, and he has written more than 75 juried journal articles.
Elise Lund is a graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education with specialization in Literacy. She has taught primary grades in Ohio and North Carolina. Elise now enjoys creating curriculum development trainings and implementing literacy instruction to a broad range of learners.
Fred C. Lunenburg is Jimmy N. Merchant Professor of Education at Sam Houston State University. Previously, he was on the faculty of educational administration at the University of Louisville, Loyola University Chicago, and Southern Utah University, where he also served as Dean of the College of Education.
