Charlene Williams currently supervises school leaders in her role as Senior Director of School Performance in Portland Public Schools in Portland, OR. Additionally, she leads the collaboration between teacher’s union and district leadership on effective teacher evaluation practices in addition to coordinating System’s Thinking training for staff across the district.

Jailall, EdD, currently serves as the
Executive Director of the K-12 Neuse Charter School in North Carolina, USA. She
is a school transformation expert and has served for over 15 years as a school
principal and as a teacher in several schools and districts in the USA. She
previously served as the Learning Disabilities Consultant at the NC Department
of Public Instruction. She
Pattie Noonan, Ph.D. is an associate research professor at the University of Kansas where she centers her work on providing and evaluating professional development related to improving education for all students. She holds a firm belief in the capacity of students with and without disabilities to achieve positive post-school outcomes through college and career readiness.
Amy S. Gaumer Erickson, Ph.D. is an associate research professor at the University of Kansas. Her work focuses on the implementation of evidence-based instructional practices, within a Multi-Tier System of Supports (MTSS), that empower students with and without disabilities to become socially and emotionally engaged, career-equipped, lifelong learners. Through her collaboration with state departments of education, Dr.
Berit Gordon coaches teachers as they nurture lifelong readers and writers. Her path as an educator began in the classroom in the Dominican Republic before teaching in New York City public schools. She also taught at the Teachers College of Columbia University in English Education. She current works as a literacy consultant in grades 3-12 and lives in Maplewood, New Jersey with her husband and three children.
Eloise Terrell is a life-long champion for social justice, equity and inclusion. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband who is also a co-author on this edition of the book. She worked for 15 years in California as a banker holding a number of positions including Teller, Teller Supervisor, Assistant Branch Supervisor and Platform Supervisor.

Isabel Sawyer is a Regional Director at Center for the Collaborative Classroom. She leads a team of educators in partnering with districts and other educational organizations across the country. In addition, Isabel presents keynotes, workshops, presentations, and professional development for teachers, literacy coaches, and administrators.
