Suzanne E. Eckes is an associate professor in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Department at Indiana University. She has published more than 70 articles and book chapters on school law, is an editor of the Principal’s Legal Handbook, and is a member of the board of directors for the Education Law Association. She is the recipient of the Jack A. Culbertson Award for outstanding achievements in education from the University Council of Educational Administration.
Pedro Noguera is the Peter L. Agnew Professor of Education at New York University. He holds tenured faculty appointments in the departments of Teaching and Learning and Humanities and Social Sciences at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Development and in the Department of Sociology at New York University.
Casey Cobb is Associate Professor of Education Policy and Director of the Center for Education Policy Analysis at the University of Connecticut. His current research interests include policies on accountability, school choice, and bilingual education, where he examines the implications for equity among historically marginalized populations.
Matthew Militello is the Wells Fargo Distinguished Professor in Educational Leadership at East Carolina University. He is currently the principal investigator for a million dollar National Science Foundation grant (NSF# 1738767) bringing computational thinking to music and art classes in rural NC middle schools. Militello is also currently implementing an innovative Ed.D. degree for ECU in Bangkok, Thailand.
Tammy L. Hughes is an associate professor at Duquesne University and president of the Division of School Psychology of the American Psychological Association (APA). She is also the co-chair of the School Psychology Leadership Roundtable (SPLR) and is a past-president of Trainers of School Psychologists (TSP).
Mwalimu J. Shujaa is a professor and dean of the College of Education and Human Development at Southern University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He holds an EdD in anthropology of education from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr.
Dr. Fran Arbaugh is an associate professor of mathematics education at Penn State University, having begun her career as a university mathematics teacher educator at the University of Missouri. She is a former high school mathematics teacher, received a M.Ed. in Secondary Mathematics Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a PhD in Curriculum & Instruction (Mathematics Education) from Indiana University – Bloomington.
H. Richard Milner IV (also known as Rich) is the Cornelius Vanderbilt Professor of Education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Milner is a Fellow of the American Educational Research Association and the recipient of the National Association of Multicultural Education’s Carl A.
Dr. Lori Delale-O’Connor is an assistant professor of urban education at the University of Pittsburgh. She received a Ph.D. in Sociology from Northwestern University where she was a certificate fellow in the Multidisciplinary Program in Education Sciences—a pre-doctoral training program funded by the Institute of Education Sciences. Dr. Delale-O'Connor also holds an M.Ed.
