PART ONE

Testing Window
Monday, March 15 through
Wednesday, March 17, 2021

Part One of the SAGE Ventura County Spelling Bee is administered through the Online Testing Platform developed by the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Spellers with verified accounts on the Online Testing Platform will be assigned the test prior to Monday, March 15, 2021. Your child must complete this test before the given deadline, and this test can be taken on any device running the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smart phones.

The results of this test will determine the top ten spellers to advance to Part Two of the competition scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 20, 2021.

Do not begin this test until you are prepared to finish it. Although spellers will have the opportunity to review their test answers prior to submission, they will not have the opportunity to stop and start the test.

It is not anticipated, but should a tie occur, we will administer an additional written test through the Online Testing Platform on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
