Cary Cherniss currently is Professor of Applied Psychology and Director of the Organizational Psycho­logy Program in the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. He also has taught at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, the University of Illinois in Chicago, the Chicago Medical School, and the Illinois Institute of Technol­ogy. Kim Chester served as a regular education teacher in an inclusive classroom for many years. During this time, she implemented effective principles of co-teaching and differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs in her classroom. After her youngest child was born with cerebral palsy, she went back to school to receive her MEd in special education from Kennesaw State University.

Michele C. Cheyne is a clinical faculty member in science education at the University of Pittsburgh where she teaches a variety of courses in the secondary science teacher preparation program. She also supervises pre-service teachers during their clinical experiences. Cheyne has worked with Pittsburgh Public Schools on several projects and provides professional development for professional laboratory training programs.

She taught general education, gifted children, and students with serious learning and behavioral problems. Her experience covers elementary, middle school, high school, and college levels. Chickie-Wolfe has also informed, inspired, and motivated educators and parents at workshops across the country.
