CFA 2.0 Workshops

Using the CFA 2.0 process, grade-level or course-level teacher teams collaboratively create unit-based assessments to assess student understanding of learning intentions derived from state or Common Core standards. The process allows teachers to intentionally align their pre- and post-assessments and use the resulting student feedback as diagnostic data to adjust and differentiate instruction.

David Chadwell is the coordinator for Single-Gender Initiatives within the South Carolina Department of Education. He works with schools across the state at all stages of implementing single-gender programs. He is also a consultant to principals across the country as they work to create single-gender programs and train their teachers.

Kathleen Chamberlain

Kathleen Chamberlain recently retired from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where she was an assistant professor of education and taught courses in curriculum and instruction, educational foundations, and literacy for secondary certification. While at Lycoming College, she also served as assistant dean for teaching effectiveness. She is a former teacher and administrator in K-12 schools.

Margaret (Bette) E. Chambers

Bette Chambers is currently a professor in the Institute for Effective Education at the University of York in England and at the Centre for Research and Reform in Education at Johns Hopkins University, where she conducts research in early childhood education and early literacy. She also directs the development and dissemination of the early childhood education and technology-embedded programs at the Success for All Foundation in Baltimore, MD.
