Lisa Riggs joined Gresham-Barlow School District, outside Portland, Oregon in 2018 as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. Prior to Oregon, Riggs was the Associate Superintendent of Academics/Chief Academic Officer for San Antonio Independent School District in Texas and the executive director of gifted and talented/advanced academics for Washoe County School District in Nevada.

She is a certified consultant for the Visible Learning+ series and other areas such as Teacher Clarity, Success Criteria and Visible Learning for Literacy.

Ricky Robertson has had the privilege to work with students from pre-K to 12th grade who have persevered in the face of adversity and trauma. As a consultant and coach, he assists schools in developing trauma-informed systems of support and Restorative Practices that foster resilience and success for staff and students.

Victoria E. Romero is the lead author of Building Resilience in Students Impacted by Adverse Childhood Experiences: A Whole Staff Approach and Race Resilience: Achieving Equity Through Self and Systems Transformation.
